One of the first events of our 2023 season was the wedding of Brooke and Nick. When this American couple contacted us, they had a very specific dream in mind, and we could summarize the way they envisioned their big day with one word: elegance.
The date they set for their wedding was still far away when we first met Brooke and Nick, but no time was wasted: in fact, we spent last winter taking care of all of the details the couple wanted to include in the most important day of their lives. We were determined to accommodate all of their wishes and to allow their vision to become reality.
The initial time of the planning is actually one of our favorite things about our job: we get to know the couple, their love story, and their taste. It is actually the moment in which we collect all of the ideas and transform them into a mood board, so that the couple can easily visualize what their big day will look like.
As already said, for Brooke and Nick it was important to give a sophisticated touch to their wedding day.
The wedding venue they chose was certainly the perfect solution for what they had in mind! Located in Cortona, Tuscany, Relais La Corte dei Papi is an elegant Tuscan villa which can really make you feel like being a prince and a princess! For Brooke and Nick, this became true on May 29, 2023. For us planners, the day of their wedding started very early: we arrived at the venue to coordinate the arrival of all of the vendors involved.
The florist and her team unloaded their truck and started to decorate the inner hall where the ceremony would be held…to say their art is magic would be an understatement! They decorated the space with some elegant white and pink flowers, just like the bride and groom wanted, and the result was just amazing.
In the meantime, Brooke and Nick were getting ready: like every bride, Brooke deserved some relaxing time, and she entrusted the make-up artist and the hair stylist for the realization of a beautiful and timeless look; surrounded by her bridesmaids, she enjoyed the moment while also rehearsing the vows she had written for her soon-to-be husband.
Nick, instead, was getting ready with his best men, and was as excited as Brooke was. Both moments were witnessed by the photographer, who captured these once-in-a-lifetime, unforgettable emotions.
When the moment of the ceremony arrived, Nick took place at the altar and waited for Brooke to arrive: this is always a touching moment! Brooke and Nick exchanged their vows and promised eternal love to each other, surrounded by the love of their families and friends, in a very elegant setting, just like they had imagined.
After the ceremony, while the guests were enjoying a delicious aperitif in the garden of the villa, Brooke and Nick spent some time together for the first time as husband and wife, and allowed the photographer to capture these first moments…on board of a red Ferrari! For their Italian wedding, the couple could not make a more appropriate choice!
The day continued with the long awaited wedding dinner, which is of course one of the moments we give the most attention to. To host their guests, Brooke and Nick chose a long imperial table under a gazebo, with romantic pink flowers, and black and golden accents, which gave the table an elegant look. Everybody looked very happy and satisfied, which is always our goal.
Among the details we loved the most about this wedding, we cannot forget the champagne tower, the wedding guestbook with the polaroid camera, and the cigar bar!
And then, what better way to conclude the day with a fun party? After cutting the cake, Brooke and Nick gave the start to the most unforgettable night of their lives! Everybody joined them on the dancefloor, and danced tirelessly all night long!
We are happy to say we have planned the perfect day for our couple!
